Outfits for our characters.

We chose this outfit for the stalker character because the dark clothing represents the negative view that we want to portray in the film. Also, wearing tracksuit bottoms and a sweat jumper shows that she isn't the perfect, fashionable girl which is why she is envious of the victim in the film.

We chose this outfit for the victim because it would be seen as a fashionable outfit which is partly the reason why the stalker is jealous of her. Also, with the laced dress it portrays an unassuming, delicate girl which suggests her innocence.

With these two pictures it shows the juxtaposing outfits from the victim to the stalker character. It clearly shows the difference between the two characters and the reasons why the stalker would be jealous of the victim.

Practicing for camera shots.

We decided to practice our camera shots the day before filming our thriller film, this helped us to practise shots aswell as identify shots which would be effecteive for our thriller film.

Music Idea's

The beginning of this song could be good for our thriller until the word's come in. It has quite an eerie feel and the drumbeat could mark significant movements within the film

This is a good thriller song with a tempo change which could mark a significant point in the two minute opening. It gives an eerie feel and allows the audience to feel scared, but also excited for what is to come.

To change the style of music, we could use a creepy upbeat dubstep track. It would add anticipation to the movie and keep people on the edge of their seat.

This could be used and then switched, to give it a happy feel and then suddenly switch to quite a creepy horror track which could show contrast between the two people as well as the change in situation.

This could also be used as a relaxing track which could be mixed with a horror track to create the atmosphere.

This could also be used as a transition track with the deep sound at the beginning.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to ask for your permission to use your land to film our Thriller film. We plan on filming towards Christmas 2011/ January 2012 . If you kindly give us your permission we would prefer to film during the day if it is convenient for you. We will inform you closer to the time the date of which we will intend to film, if we have your full permission to do so.

Yours faithfully,

Tia Downey, Mia Fearn, Rebecca Hayden & Chloe Howe.

Our Focus Group Powerpoint in pictures.

For our focus group we decided to present our questions as a PowerPoint, as it makes it more interesting to watch for the focus group. We also included clips throughout our PowerPoint as once again it’s more exciting for the group; it also shows visually and verbally our film ideas as well as other thriller films, to allow them to have a better understanding of the genre. We decided to use a PowerPoint as it is also another creative way of expressing our ideas rather than continuous writing, it also allowed us to organise our ideas and remember exactly what we wanted to say. We also asked the group a series of questions to involve them and to get their opinions and ideas across to give us a better understanding of our target audiences requirements for our thriller film.

Thriller Reserach- Mood Board in pictures.

We decided to express our ideas and research on thriller films through a mood board as this is a creative way of showing research. It also allowed us to see all the key aspects of thriller films all on one page. All the aspects which are explored on the mood board are key features we felt were necessary and stood out in a thriller film, we intend to use many of these ideas for our own personal thriller film. We explored key camera shots, key editing, key characters and settings as these are all crucial for a thriller film. We identified different types of the four headings to show our understanding in the variations of types of key thriller features.
